The staff of the Erasmus and International Mobility Office
Erasmus students must be officially nominated by email (italyan.kafedra@gmail.com) by the Erasmus coordinator of the Home University. The nomination must necessarily specify:
Upon reception of the nomination, incoming students will receive an email from our Erasmus office detailing the application procedures, deadlines, and all relevant information concerning the mobility period.
Documents 1 and 2 are to be sent by e-mail as scanned .pdf documents to italyan.kefedra@gmail.com.
Students' acceptance is conditional upon the receipt of all required forms mentioned above. In case of need, students will be provided with an official letter of acceptance and a copy of the learning agreement – before mobility, duly approved.
Applications incomplete or received after the official deadline might not be accepted.
Fall semester: 9 September - 25 December 2024 (exam session: January/February 2025)
Spring semester: 15 February - 30 May/June 2025 (exam session: June 2025)
Erasmus incoming students are free to choose courses regardless of their study field after consultation with the academic advisor of the home Institution. Subjects can be chosen among the following list of Degree courses:
Every Degree and Master Degree course on offer has its own Erasmus tutor. The tutor provides support to Erasmus incoming students when students need to finalize the choice of the subjects they intend to follow and change to the original learning agreement.
Erasmus students are invited to contact the Erasmus tutors upon their arrival in order to arrange a meeting to discuss the personal study plan.
The schedule of the courses on offer is officially published in September (courses of the Fall semester) and in February (courses of the Spring semester).
The overall list of the subjects available in each semester is published a few days before the beginning of the academic semester. Students are strongly advised to check the availability of the subjects indicated in their learning agreement immediately after their arrival in UzSWLU and fill in the “changes to the learning agreement” within 30 days by the Erasmus starting date.
Since you might decide to choose subjects from several semesters and different degree programs, it is likely that you will have time clashes. Attendance of the classes is only required for a few subjects; we recommend consulting with the teacher of each subject at the beginning of the courses in order to receive the necessary information about the exam, the course program, and all other useful information.
The official teaching language at UzSWLU is Uzbek, Russian, and Italian, but most courses and exams are given in Italian. To attend courses held in Italian, it is highly recommended to have a minimum B2 English level. To attend courses held in Russian, it is also highly recommended to have a minimum B1 Russian level. We do not need any official language certificate, just make sure your students have the required language skills before starting their studies in UzSWLU.
Students have one month from the beginning of the mobility period to propose any possible modification to the learning agreement before mobility. To do this, it will be necessary to use the form named "learning agreement-during the mobility" that shall first be approved by the Erasmus coordinator of the home Institution. The so-called "changes form" shall only include units deleted or added with respect to the original learning agreement.
The UzSWLU Residence has a few rooms reserved for incoming Erasmus+ and Exchange (not Visiting) students.
Students will receive the application procedure for the accommodation by email.
